The salary range for this position is $52,000-58,000 depending on licensure and experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:- Education: Master's degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy or psychology or enrollment in a Master's degree program for social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy or psychology preferred. Bachelor's degree with valid Ohio LSW is acceptable.
- Licensure: Valid Ohio LSW, LPC, or MFT required.

- Other: Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets the underwriting criteria of the Agency’s insurance company. Must be approved by Applewood to transport client in own vehicle.
AGENCY SUMMARY:Applewood Centers is a private, nonprofit agency providing mental health services, social services and education to children, adolescents and families living in Cuyahoga and Lorain counties. Dedicated to addressing a variety of behavioral, emotional and learning problems, we provide a continuum of care from outpatient counseling to residential treatment.
POSITION SUMMARY:The Group Therapeutic Services (GTS) Licensed Group Facilitator is a member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team and is responsible for the development, implementation and management of curriculum and treatment of youth referred to the program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:- Supervise client activities and is accountable for whereabouts and safety of clients.
- Responsible for administration and group/team leading and clinical planning of appropriate therapeutic groups to youth within various clinical topics as directed via curriculum based on individual client treatment needs.
- Complete assessments and intakes for incoming clients. Provide case management and Therapuetic Behavior Services (TBS) if needed.
- Implement clinical planning for youth as designed by the treatment team and individualized treatment plan (ITP) and documentation of derivations/changes from clinical planning for clients.
- Responsible for the development, planning, of curriculum writing of groups being lead. These curricula are to be completed and approved by the supervisor prior to all group sessions and are due prior to the commencement of any new therapeutic group.
- Assist in crisis intervention, problem resolution and process discussions with clients.
- Responsible for daily/progress notes for therapeutic service hours delivered, as shared with other facilitators within the groups.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of the clinical record through the timely completion of assigned documentation in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards.
- As needed, transport clients to and from GTS program in agency provided vehicle.
- Respect the privacy of clients and hold in confidence all information obtained during the client’s treatment. All client-related documents should be handled in accordance with Agency guidelines on confidential material.
- Maintain a professionalism with clients and families that reflects courtesy, respect and the highest ethical standards.
- Secure supervisory signatures per licensing guidelines and agency policy/procedure.
OTHER DUTIES:- Attend team meetings and consultations on time and as scheduled. Be open to feedback and suggestion from others, be prepared for meetings, actively participate as a supportive team member, and maintain a positive working relationship with co-workers.
- Incorporate supervisory suggestions and directions into clinical practice.
- Apply professional training to revise and update clinical practice.
- If assigned, provide after hours on-call response in accordance with agency policy.
- Collaborate with agency staff and administration on behalf of program changes.
- Participate, as required, in program and performance improvement initiatives.
- Have or maintain a good on-time attendance record.
- Perform other duties as directed.
